He graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine with honors. While in Boston, Dr. Rubinstein
was a Research Fellow in Lasers in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School. He is currently a member of
the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and a Fellow of American Society of Cosmetic
Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Rubinstein completed his Dermatology residency at U.C. Irvine.
Dr. Rubinstein has written numerous articles for medical journals and has presented research at national
meetings.
He is currently a Clinical Instructor and teaches dermatology residents at UCLA.
His expertise includes treatment of acne and psoriasis, phototherapy, and rejuvenation of aging skin.
Dr. Rubinstein often provides expert opinion on various subjects in dermatology to the media.
